LPND Database | The LPND Database is a planetary feature names database developed by the Ground Research and Application System, providing all the feature names, their geographical information and some other nomenclature information published by the International Astronomical Union (IAU), as well as the standard Chinese transliteration of all these lunar and Martian feature names. With an interactive query services for the standard Chinese feature names, the LPND Database meet the needs of the relevant personnel in conducting scientific research, academic exchange, cartography, publication and science education. All these lunar and Martian feature names together with their Chinese transliteration are also provided as EXCEL files for users to download for ease of use.Moon_ND Mars_ND |
Supporting Data for the Analysis of Chang’E-4 Rock Spectra | The dataset is the supporting data of the article 《Dusty Mafic Rocks Along the Path of Chang'E-4 Rover: Initial Analysis of the Image Cubes of the Onboard Visible and Near-infrared Imaging Spectrometer》. The dataset includes three .zip files and three .xlsx files. The three .zip files correspond to the classification results of the rock surfaces and the geometric information of two rocks. The three .xlsx files are the average spectra of classification (Figure 2 in the paper), original continuous spectra and the corresponding band depths (Figure 4 in the paper).DOI:https://dx.doi.org/10.12350/CLPDS.GRAS.CE4.VNIS-PAData2021a.v1 |
Tianwen-1landing_site_data.zip | The dataset includes the Digital Orthophoto Map (DOM) and Digital Elevation Model (DEM) obtained by the High Resolution Imaging Camera (HiRIC) before June 2, 2021, images acquired by MultiSpectral Camera (MSCam) at sols 21 and 43, and images acquired by Navigation and Terrain Camera (NaTeCams) at sols 5, 31 and 45. The data were used to analyze geomorphic contexts and science focus of the Zhurong landing site on Mars. This package contains 32 data files with a total data volume of 10.8GB. |
GRAS Moon | GRAS Moon is a WebGIS-based browsing system for 2/3D lunar images, terrain data and a variety of other data, which is developed by the Ground Research and Application System. It provides users with global lunar map data services in an interactive manner based on a browser, enabling global data roaming, basic geographic analysis, feature names query, data download and basic cartography functions. |
GRAS Mars | GRAS Mars is a WebGIS-based browsing system for 2/3D martian images, terrain data and a variety of other data, which is developed by the Ground Research and Application System. It provides users with global martian map data services in an interactive manner based on a browser, enabling global data roaming, basic geographic analysis, feature names query, data download and basic cartography functions. |
GRASView 1.0 | GRASView is a tool for reading and browsing image data in PDS format and its label, providing a convenient means for researchers and amateurs to use PDS format image data, with the function of converting image data from PDS format to common image formats (e.g. PNG, JPEG). It is currently applicable to scientific data stored in PDS format acquired by optical imaging instruments, such as Chang'e-4 Landing Camera, Terrain Camera, Panoramic Cameras, and Visible and Near-infrared Imaging Spectrometer. The software is developed by the Ground Research and Application System, with the first release of version 1.0 in September 2021, and is copyrighted by the National Astronomical Observatories of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Users need to download this executive program, double-click directly run. Please put the data file and the corresponding label file in the same directory before user it. |
GRAS PanoramaView for Chang'e-4 | GRAS PanoramaView for Chang'e-4 is a panoramic roaming tool for the Chang'e-4 rover’s exploration points, which is developed by the Ground Research and Application System. It is used to view the panoramic images of the lunar surface acquired by Chang'e 3 and Chang'e 4 panoramic cameras through interactive operations, providing users with an immersive 360-degree roaming tour of the lunar surface environment, showing details of topography and terrain characteristics of lunar surface. |
GRAS PanoramaView for Tianwen-1 | GRAS PanoramaView for Tianwen-1 is a panoramic roaming tool for the Zhurong rover’s exploration points, which is developed by the Ground Research and Application System. It is used to view the panoramic images of the Martian surface acquired by Tianwen-1 Navigation and Terrain Camera through interactive operations, providing users with an immersive 360-degree roaming tour of the Martian surface environment, showing details of topography and terrain characteristics of Martian surface. |
Environmental analysis auxiliary data for water research of Zhurong landing site | This dataset is the supporting data for the article "Modern water at low latitudes on Mars: Potential evidence from dune surfaces", which was published in the journal "Science Advance". The dataset consists of four .zip files and two .xlsx files. The two .xlsx files describe the data used for the figures and tables in the Main Text and Materials and Methods sections of the article. After extracting the four .zip files, the descriptions of the corresponding data can be found in the .xlsx files using the relative paths of the data files.
